Girl, I’m so glad you asked and these are some of the tough questions we face head on in the All the King's Women Mastermind.

The Bible has a lot to say about how husbands and wives should treat each other. As wives, we’re told to be subject to our husbands (1 Peter 3:1), submit to our husbands (Ephesians 5:22), and respect our husbands (Ephesians 5:33). 

But absolutely nothing about who should make more money. Nada.

The beloved Proverbs 31 woman “considers a field and buys it” and “with the fruit of her hands she plants a vineyard”. She was an entrepreneur, working for the glory of the Lord, her husband, and her family. 

Don’t you dare believe the lie that your big, bold vision to build something that honors God, impacts lives, and creates financial freedom is somehow wrong. 

Women in corporate sign up for 8+ hours a day away from their families. They’re faced with daily commutes, early mornings “getting ready”, and mandated overtime. That leaves almost nothing for their husband and family. 

You’re made for more. 

When you create your own empire, you don’t own a “job”, you create possibilities. You create the schedule & the team to support your vision. So not only does your business thrive, so does your family. 

It’s tempting to invest in a worldly coach or mentor “just to learn” without counting the full cost of that decision. 

Here’s a few things to consider: 

1. Worldly mentors invest in counter-Biblical organizations. That means your money supports causes you don’t. 

2. Worldly mentors attract…other worldly people. That means every online or IRL event grows your network in the wrong direction. 

3. God’s Word reminds us to be a “city upon a hill” (Matthew 5:14) and that we don’t “light a lamp and put it under a basket” (Matthew 5:15). In other words, God’s telling us not to hide our faith. 

4. And finally, 2 Corinthians 6:14 tells us not to be unequally yoked with non-believers. 

Sis, if every time you dream of doing more with the talents and experiences God gave you, you hear a voice tell you that you’re not ready, not equipped, not good enough, you're not hearing God. 

🛑You’re listening to the enemy. 

Because he’ll do anything to keep you stuck & playing small, when you’re small you can’t make an impact for the Kingdom. You can’t bless others with a job or a raise. And you can’t donate to causes that further His Truth. 

That’s why who you surround yourself with matters–be careful who you let into your business and mind.
